Thoughts

I’ve seen people read the Bible just like a book, one line
right after the other. I’ve heard people say they’ve the
Bible cover to cover, yet they never mention some of the
things I see when I read it. It now amazes me how the
obvious can be so easily over looked. Some may say I’m
digging, trying to find things that are not there. Quite
frankly, I’m not going through it trying to find fault with
it, I’m simply pointing out what I see it saying.

I have been fascinated by a lot of what I see that I know
I have never heard a preacher or Bible scholar mention.
There are acts and actions by those we are taught to have
been God’s elite doing things people (mostly Christians)
in today’s world would frown at. Yet, they were done by
God’s own chosen people, those he was pleased with. If
this opens a can of worms with today’s Christians, I’m
sorry, but this is in the Bible widely accepted as being
God’s word. I know where I come from, I was raised in
a Baptist church, my own dad was a Baptist preacher.
I will continue to add my comments verse by verse.
