Genesis 1–1 Hidden In Plain Sight

Here are some things you probably haven’t read
before. This what Genesis really says according
to Strong’s Bible Concordance. Between my brac-
kets is what Strong’s says. Strangely enough,
this is also what the ancient Hebrew text says.

Genesis 1

[1] In the beginning [first, beginning] God
[plural, gods.] created [to create, shape, form,
to shape, fashion, create.] the heaven [heaven,
heavens, sky, visible heavens, as abode of the
stars, as the visible universe, the sky, atmos-
phere, etc] and [sign of the definite direct
object, not translated in English but generally
preceding and indicating the accusative ] the
earth [land, earth, whole earth (as opposed to
a part), earth (as opposed to heaven), earth
(inhabitants)].

UFO Sighting & Photograph in San German, Puerto Rico

Investigation and report by Professor Reinaldo Rios,
independent UFO investigator and reporter
reinaldorios888@yahoo.com

Pictures were being taken for the bank, the Old
Adventist Temple. The camera was being prepared
to a height of 22 feet, when the photographer's
attention was drawn to what was described as an
enormous machine of green and blue. A cupola could
be seen on top of the object. CLICK AND READ STORY.

Would you believe seashells on Mars?

News From Space

Would you believe seashells on Mars? I would, I
have always thought in the vastness of this
universe, there had to life on more planets than
Earth. If the photos in this website are real,
it should be enough to catch the attention of
the densest minds teaching our children. But I’m
afraid government educators would still want to
argue.

What Is That In The Dark Night Sky?

Have you ever looked into a night sky and wondered if
we are really alone? It seems with the countless billions
of stars out there, our earth being the only one with
life on it leaves an awful lot of wasted space. If we
are alone in this vast universe, why? If we are not
alone, why all the secrecy?

I have worked at night for over 20 years and have had
every chance to have seen something in a dark night sky.
I didn’t say I hadn’t, the fact is I have – and it was
not a plane. Or should I say – they were not planes? Did
I report the incidents to law enforcement? No I didn’t.
They know those mysteries are there. And why didn’t I
file reports you might ask. My answer to that would be
--- you try it and see how far you get and what happens.
And it is not the local law enforcement you need to worry
about.

The American news media has blinded people to the fact
they are there. People have been mocked and prodded by
scores of people who make claims something is our there.
Fact is, we see on the evening news what those in charge
want us to see. They feed us a line and we swallow it,
hook, line, and sinker. No, the evening newscast doesn’t
tell us everything, they don’t even come close. If they
did, then the news would be full of the events taking place
around the world every day. Even Japan is alerting their
people of what they think is coming. Why isn’t the U.S.
government?

The answers number greatly. But one is, they are afraid
they’ll lose influence over the people. And the truth is,
there are so many “Know-It-Alls” in our own country who
would laugh you into the ground. With the Macho attitude
they would display, would come the mockery of all of their
followers. Well, personally, I don’t think they would have
so many followers if people were well enough informed.

HOW TO SAVE PETROL: …an ancient secret?

HOW TO SAVE PETROL: …an ancient secret?

By: Jonathan Gray

The other day a man in South Africa emailed asking
HOW TO INCREASE CAR MILEAGE BY 85% - as I had hinted
in an article on ancient technology.

In case you’re also wondering, here is my reply to him.
In modern automobile tests, an ultrasonic reactor
attached to the carburetor almost doubled petrol mileage
with very little exhaust gas.(Click on the tittle to read)

DOES A GIANT RACE STILL EXIST IN THE SOLOMON ISLANDS?

A few weeks ago, a nephew was all excited about a
picture he had of a giant, “He was the tallest man
in the world”, He said. I tried to tell him, the 8-
foot giant he was so excited about wasn’t the tall-
est man in the world, and that there still may be
giants taller than that now. He wanted proof, but
I still don’t have his email address. On that note,
read the article below.

Click on the tittle and Read About The Giants

According to very numerous local reports, surviving
giants live inside the rainforest jungle mountain
ranges of Guadalcanal. They have vast cave systems
running the length of the entire island.

Australian Marius Boirayon, a retired helicopter
pilot/engineer who is married to a Solomon Islander,
has come across many Guadaleanal people who believe
these giants can travel from cast to west through
these cave systems without seeing the light of day.
It is believed that their population numbers in the
thousands.

How To Break In A New Lock

My wife has started her new job working at a new store.
She and a co-worker applied for a job there at about the
same time, they were hired at the same time. So far,
they have been working together at this store like they
did at the last store they worked at.

At the new store they have lockers where they didn’t at
the last store she worked at. While Marcie and I were
shopping this past week, we picked up two padlocks. One
for Marcie, and one for her friend Alma.

Sunday at work they tried them out. Marcie didn’t take
her purse, her friend Alma did. Marcie’s key was in her
pocket. Her friend put her keys in her purse, put the
purse in her locker, and snapped the lock. The lock
worked fine, only problem now was how to get her purse
out of the locker.

When Alma realized what she had done, she called her
husband, Barnie, to bring something to cut the lock
off with. When he came to pick her up after work, he
brought a hacksaw to cut the brand new lock off the
locker with. No dice, the hacksaw didn’t work. He
should have brought a bolt cutter. She had to leave
her purse in the locker, which contained her wallet,
cell phone, and keys. And those were not the highest
priced locks Wal-Mart had. Maybe we should have gotten
a plastic lock for her. What you think?

What’s On TV?

I’m more than a little peeved about Yahoo’s TV
Guide. Are Ya listening Yahoo? I used to be able
to go in and see what’s coming on with no hassle.
There was no sign in, no worries and in a few
seconds, “Bingo”. Tonight it wasn’t that simple.
I went to the bookmark and what happens? Yoho
wants me to sign in before I can see what’s on
the boob tube. Well, I did and guess what …… I
got in alright. BUT, it didn’t give me what I
wanted. What it did give me was a few misses
and slots where it should have shown programming
it simply stated “Local Programming.”

There has been a problem with them for some time
like having to type in some stupid code word be-
fore you can forward and email. I have had to do
it when I send my own family a note. They say
it’s to cut back on spamming. Okay, so why do I
still get hundreds of spam mails every week? Can
you tell I’m a little upset? Good!

A Conversation With Cousin

While Momma was in the hospital, I called a cousin
of mine I haven’t spoken with in years. Momma had
gotten her phone number from somewhere a couple of
weeks ago, I got it from her and put it in my phone.
Then, the day after Momma broker her hip, I gave
Cathy a call.

It was good to hear her voice. We talked for several
minutes, reminiscing, and talking about other rela-
tives. I discovered during our conversation, we both
probably have some of the same unanswered questions
regarding our relatives. Though she didn’t say so,
she probably relishes her privacy away from others
as much as I do. Or else, she would live within a
stone’s throw. I will say, I enjoyed talking with a
member from my Mom’s side of the family better than
I believe I would have from my dad’s side. And that’s
all I’ll say about that for now.

Momma Is Out Of The Hospital And In Rehab

As you can see from my last post, my mother has
been in the hospital after having broken her hip.
She had to have hip surgery to replace her broken
bone with an artificial one. Since she has been
recovering, we have been pretty busy. Well, yes-
terday she was admitted into Newnan Rehab where
she’ll be for two to three weeks at least. I’ll
update this little by little as time goes by.

I did have the opportunity to speak with a dis-
patcher from where I work yesterday. Her name
is Narda (not native to this country, but grew
up here), she said her mother broke her hip at
the age of 71 a few years ago. She told me it
took her mother about six months recovering, but
now she pretty well goes where she pleases. So,
my hopes are up that Momma will fully recover
and be just fine.

Broken Bones

I was being lazy Sunday morning (July 15, 2006),
Marcie was at work and I had been at relaxing and
listening to some Sweet Liberty Radio on the Internet
with Alan Watt. After a while, I decided to lay back
down for a little shuteye. I wasn’t all that sleepy
(I didn’t think), just wanted to stretch out a little
while. Then the phone rang, I started to get up to
answer it and almost fell on my face. Even though my
eyes were open, my head wasn’t all that clear as if I
had just wakened from some hard sleeping.

It was Mark calling (my brother’s eldest son), he was
at Bobby’s (my brother) and Momma’s. He said Momma had
fallen again and that they had called an ambulance.

He said, he was in the living room with Momma along
about 9:30 AM, while he was looking over some pictures
he heard a blunder behind him. He turned around and
Momma was lying on the floor. Her bad leg had given
way and she had fallen.

At the hospital we found out she had broken her hip at
the joint. The ball that fits into the hipbone socket
had been broken off. They would have no choice but to
replace that part of the bone with an artificial bone
(metal). She would remain at the hospital for a few
days, then be moved to a rehabilitation center.

She is doing better now, though she is worried about
her garden. The Lord smiled on her and watered it good
last night. My brother said they had gotten a fraction
over a half inch of rain.

Need A Hair Cut? Well, That’s Your Business, Not Mine.

I was born in N.W. Alabama to a severely countrified
couple. Dad was from one type of church, Mom from
another. Both were set in their ways and beliefs and
usually those beliefs were a lot different to what
mine would be. Can’t help it, some of the things you
hear in this family just plain don’t make sense. Let
some member of my dad’s family do something he might
think is a little improper and he would let it slid.
Let me try it and I would end up on the carpet or at
the wrong end of his belt.

Mom on the other hand, never whipped me, but she
would talk to me. I didn’t say I would see it her way
every time, but it was much more civil with her.
Where my dad left anger and hurt feelings behind, Mom
and I ended the conversation satisfied we had both
aired our views without yelling, hurting feelings, or
creating painful memories that would never heal. Dad
preached a lot, read his Bible a lot, but as far as
being a model image I would want to live by – forget
it. I can’t think of anyone in his family I can say I
was ever close too.

My dad made a lasting impression on me during my younger
years. The truth is, I made a vow I would never be like
him. When I was a child, I knew what I wanted to be and
what I wanted to do when I got older. That dream was des-
troyed because of where we live and my dad’s hard hand.
On the other hand, my mom tried to encourage me to follow
that dream years later. But the truth is, I don’t have
the drive now to do what I wanted to when I was young.
The events of my life, the memories behind me, and what
they did to my dreams have robbed me of something I want-
ed so much I could literally taste it.

I was over at my folk’s house today helping my brother
with a porch to a shed. It was hot and the heat soon
caught up with us. An innocent remark my mom made about
me needing a hair cut somehow brought something back to
mind my dad would have said if he were still alive. I know
she didn’t mean anything by it, but had my dad said it –
it would have been a different matter. My dad’s people
are some of the nosiest people on earth. They did and do
go out of their way to stick their nose where it doesn’t
belong.

Bullied Children

I’m going to side step here for just a little while
to talk about “Bullied Children”. I know what bullied
children go through, I was one. Bullying can leave a
mark on you that will last a life time. It has on me.

A bullied child will never forget the names of those
who bullied them. Many can’t or wont let go of those
painful events that stole their precious childhood. If
the bullies came out and openly asked forgiveness, that
would help. But, the wounds they left in the child they
bullied will never be completely healed. They will
always be there.

Over the past months, I have been working on a book about
my childhood, telling my story as detailed as possible.
It is not a pretty story, but sometimes I find it helps.
Its away I have of fighting those painful memories. The
story tells the first painful event that I remember, and
continues on up into my teenage years. It tells of the
tears, the beatings, the faults accusations and much, much
more. The places are real, the people are real, and the
teachers that pay attention to what was going on are real
as well.

As my writing the story helps me, I suggest anyone, any
child who has been or who is currently being bullied to sit
down and write out their story. Put their story in print,
maybe let others know what you go through. It could save
another defenseless the pain and agony of what you have to
deal with. I plan to write more on this in the coming days,
weeks, maybe months. I truly hope the name of the reader
doesn’t appear here.

If I publish my book, if I sell my book …. Then you’ll know
where and how the name Castaway Lee originated. I was a cast-
away, I became a loner, and to a very large extent, I still
am.

Conservative Radio Host Won’t Discuss Controversial News Story on Show

I just ran across this on Kevin Smith’s website. Here
is the reason you don’t hear a lot of the real juicy
stuff on radio. Many of the talk show hosts that have
the most coverage on the airwaves are just plain scared
to get on the subject, or they think the same junk the
evening newscasters need help keeping blinders on the
public. Its kind of like the grip society has on you,
you claim you are a free thinker, but your action prove
you are not.

A big time host here in Atlanta never mentions UFO’s or
the paranormal, but he is constantly spreading his views
regarding politicians, taxes, government schools and so
on. Question, is a talk show host who refuses to get on
the subjects of the paranormal and better than the even-
ing news they downgrade so much?

Nothing On The Radio

I don’t usually get into politics or sports here, I
don’t in my personal life. But, I will right now
because I’m still fuming. A few nights ago when I was
on my way home from work, I turned on the radio to
hopefully be entertained a little on my drive. But
with at least twenty stations on the AM band, all I
could pull in was either politics or sports.

I turned to FM 1, all I heard was music (which I get
enough of otherwise), and it the same went for FM 2.
I usually enjoy listening to talk radio, but when the
only thing the host wants to talk about is politics,
I’m turned off. My only other choices were music or
sports. I was not in the mood for music and I’m not a
sports fan. Has talk radio about to hit the mud?

Think about it, there were at least eight AM stations
in Atlanta with good reception that night, and half
were on politics, the other half were on sports. Why?
Do these station managers not realize there are people
out there who Do Not enjoy this stuff?

Two Masters of Talk Radio May 28, 2006 Interview

Tonight at work, I listened to a broadcast where
Dr. Brooks Agnew interviewed world famous talk
show host, Kevin Smith.
The subject was mainly
regarding Smith’s book, “Gods In The Garden”.
This was one terrific show.

As the two masters of talk radio talked, the sub-
jects crossed over many things I had noticed in
the Bible myself. Those being; The two creations
of man, more than one cataclysm, gods in the
plural and many more. I could have listened to
this subject almost all night long, but my player
wouldn’t have held that volume.

I guess I first noticed the big difference in the
story in Genesis and what I’ve heard all of my
life back about the middle of 2005 when I started
taking the chapters verse by verse. “Whoa! I
didn’t know that!” Was the thought (politely put)
going through my mind. Right there in Genesis,
chapter 1 is the story of the creation of the earth
– more than once.

On the fifth day, male and female were created. But
Adam and Eve weren’t created till after the seventh
day.

But all of that doesn’t even scratch the surface.
For more of my thoughts on it, you’ll have to wait
till this little guy finishes his book. In the mean
time, why not go to Dr. Agnew’s website and listen
to his interview with Kevin Smith. After that, you
may find yourself wanting to purchase “Gods In The
Garden”.

By the way, do you still think the serpent in the
garden was a snake? Really? Give me one good and
sound reason why you think that.

I’m outta here!

Welcome To The United States Jennifer

I would like to welcome my wife’s niece Jennifer to the United
States. She arrived here from the Philippines today. Soon, I
don’t know how soon, she will wed John McCurrie of Nashville
Tennessee. Kids, I wish you both the best.

Dinner In Cebu City

I recall the first time I went to the Philippines. As
my plane came in for its landing, I felt like I was
coming home. I was going to meet my fiancé. A woman I
had written many, many times. How many times our letters
had crossed the Pacific? I had lost track, but then – I
was counting them. That same woman I went there to meet,
did become my wife. And she has made me so happy. The
accompanying picture is from the roof top café’ of the
pension house where we spent part of our honey moon.

The Conversation

It seems to be part of the human nature to place you
under conditions. People are so free to tell someone
else they can't have this or that, or shouldn't do
something because its wrong and they give you hundreds
of reason that all wear the labels of belief (their
belief). The facts you've presented to them don’t
stack up to any more than a meaningless whisper of
the wind. Even if you put it in writing, they couldn’t
see it, or wouldn’t see it.

Back a few weeks ago, I was talking with my nephew.
The subject was talk radio, local AM broadcasting was
his bag. I made a comment about the best radio was
not on any local daytime stations schedule. He stated
he had listened to Coast To Coast AM himself. Which,
revealed to me his ambition to explore the Internet
broadcasting. I said that’s not the only one, and
began to name over a few in trying to point him in
the right direction – which would be away from all of
that political and sports stuff.

He asked what I had against sports. So I told him,
“Nothing unless you try to peddle it off on me.”
I said, “The biggest things I have against sportscast
are; if we did have an attack or invasion, half the
country would have their eyes glued to a boob-tube to
see who won what. They would never see the attack tak-
ing place till the bullets flew around them. The next
thing I have against them is, while they may be enter-
taining, the are not at all educational. But then
neither is constantly listening music to nothing but
music.”

It is funny, have you noticed when you've handed some-
one logical reasons at point blank range, it still
goes right over their heads? He thought I was speaking
up against the talk master himself, or good ole Rush.
I didn’t mention either name, I simply stated I listen
to broadcasting you don’t hear on local stations – and
you are not likely to hear it, its too plain for them.

He asked what I did listen too. He couldn’t get the
bananas out of his ears, I had already told him. Next
time I’ll write it down and hand it to him in person.
Or, I could give him the link to my Blog.

The fact is, I don’t listen to radio host that can’t
seem to talk about anything except politics, sports,
or those happy with degrading other people. When
WSB 750AM, WGST 640AM or some of those other stations
start airing Kevin Smith, Marshall Masters, Rob
McConnell, or Brooks Agnew – then the stations will
have my attention. I seriously doubt they will till
then.

After our conversation had ended, he probably didn’t
recall a single name I mentioned. So, I guess my next
step will be to make up business cards listing the
programs with the webpage addresses.

Experiment With A Certain Email Account

I have a Y_____ email account I use for ezines and
chat. Back a while I noticed, as I expect many did,
I had to enter this stupid code to send out mailings.
The purpose of the code is to cut down spamming, but
what it really does is interfere with legitimate
users using the address they secured for their pur-
pose. It doesn’t restrain spammers at all, but gett-
ing Y______ to understand this is pretty much the
same as pouring a cup of water into a well – all you
can tell you have is a little more water. There is no
need to contact Y______ about the problem, all you’ll
get is an electronically generated letter asking you
to fill out a form – over and over and over.

After a few weeks of being brain warped by the necess-
ity of using the code to respond or forward emails, I
have decided to try an experiment on Y______. This is
what I’m doing and I will be posting the results here.
I opened up a dummy account especially for the experi-
ment. The only thing I will be doing is monitoring the
address every day to see what happens. I will not be
mailing from the address, or receiving replies from
anyone I’m corresponding with. My only purpose for this
account is to see how long it will take a spammer to get
their spam mail to me. As of this posting, the address
has already been set up and waiting.

Stolen? Stolen from A Guardhouse?

I work in security, my shifts are at night Monday
through Friday. We work for a security company that
contracts work from other companies.

We also have a camera (Did have) in the guardhouse
to take pictures of incidents should we need them.
This week I opened the drawer where the camera is
kept, the camera wasn’t there. I began to look for
it in the hope it was just put somewhere else. I did
not find it. This doesn’t look good considering the
only people who work in the guardhouse are guards.

Without delay, I sent a memo to my immediate super-
visor, but it just happens my supervisor is out of
town till Monday. I don’t expect the camera to turn
up, if it doesn’t the guards will have to see that
it is replaced. I’ll probably let you know what takes
place next week when my supervisor returns and reads
my memo.

Should Men Carry A Purse?

I must admit, some men seem to need one. Jimmy is a
fun loving clownish sort of guy and works at the same
place I do. About a week ago, he was out in a company
vehicle and he and his partner stopped at a Waffle
House for lunch. About thirty or so miles later, they
arrived back at the plant and it was time to clock out.
Jimmy’s partner would get to go home, but poor Jimmy
had to drive back to the Waffle House to get his phone.
The Waffle House called the plant and left a message
with Jimmy’s boss.

Jimmy had to use the same van he had driven all over
three counties that same day to get back to the Waffle
House because he couldn’t find the keys to his car.
The Waffle House hadn’t linked the keys to the phone
yet – they were found in different locations. The phone
was found on the table in the booth, the keys were
found in the restroom. Do men need a man bag?

His boss can’t say much, he lost his wallet a few days
ago. It was mailed back to him (with everything still
in it) from Riverdale Georgia. The party that found it
had bought gas at the same store Mitchell did, but
waited till they were back in the town they (the finder)
lived in before he put it in an envelope and dropped
it in a mail box back to him. Do men need a man bag?
You tell me.

Superbug strain hits the healthy

A drug-resistant superbug that spreads by skin contact is infecting thousands of people across the US and may now have reached Europe.

The MRSA bacterium, or methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, can be resistant to many antibiotics. It has long been a serious problem in hospitals and nursing homes, where it infects the wounds of patients weakened by disease or injury. But it now appears that a new strain is emerging that spreads through skin contact and can even infect healthy people.

Here Is Something I Bet You Didn't Hear On The 6 O'clock News

Red coloured rain occurred in many places of Kerala in India during July to September 2001 due to the mixing of huge quantity of microscopic red cells in the rainwater.

Something weird fell in the red rain
Government report ruled out dust, and instead put the colour down to the presence of spores from a lichen-forming algae common to the region.

Microbes In Mysterious Red Rain Water
Kerala, India (AHN) - Godfrey Louis, a physicist at Mahatma Gandhi University, India, believes that water samples taken from the mysterious blood-colored rain that fell sporadically across Louis's home state of Kerala in the summer of 2001, contains microbes from outer space.

Morgellons Agony of Skin Lesions and "Brain Fog"
Reports of a mysterious medical condition are cropping up across the country but doctors are divided on whether it is a real disease or all in their patients' heads. Called Morgellons Disease, patients who report having it describe sensations of creepy-crawlers beneath the skin and fibrous filaments oozing out of open wounds.

For The People By The People?

One of the most beloved things about America is the
freedom other countries hear that we have. My wife
is from the Philippines, a drop-down wonderful place.
After we married, I discovered half of her friends
wanted to come to the United States, the other half
thought the stories they heard about America were to
good to be true. I suppose a lot of those stories were.

Some of her friends had heard money came easy here and
life was grand. They had read about magnificent homes
that sparkled, fantastic employment opportunities, and
all that glitters is gold. I have tried to tell them
the truth, Filipinos here have tried to tell them the
– but will they listen? No many will.

Its true our nation has never known the scourge of
debtor prisons. Your not in danger of being beheaded
once you step outside, and a good education is available
for those who will work for it – provided you don’t use
the government schools to get it. Shopping malls are
popping up everywhere, and the auto industry turns out
the finest of automobiles of any country. But, here in
American everything that glitters is NOT gold, and you
certainly don’t always get what you want.

Most of the reasons so many from other countries want to
come here – doesn’t exist here the way they have been told.
These beautiful dreams of finding a rich and wonderful life
here often ends up being just that, nothing more than a
fleeting dream for many. To be able to be really free, the
government has to be controlled by the people, for the
people as it was intended. However, I am afraid it is
becoming a governmental state for the “Elite” instead of for
the “People”. To press my point, how many laws were passed
in the first part of this year alone we where we, the
citizens, had no voice in? There are laws and bills that are
constantly coming up for votes we never hear about, there
will be more before the year is finished. Those laws and bills
“DO” effect each and every one “us” every day in some way and
we often never hear a word about them until it is too late to
object. The only ones who seem immune are the law makers
themselves. Once the law is passed, it takes a massive
undertaking to have it reversed. Think about it!

When I was in the public school system, the teachers then were
terrible at educating the students. I was an avid reader of
subjects they probably never knew existed. Most of the people,
whom did know, saw such subjects as science fiction. Other
students thought I was a head case in need of Special Attention,
but if they would look back and compare those days of the 1960’s
with today, they would see what they considered science fiction
then was reality today. I failed a lot giving answers according
to the information I had read (outside of school textbooks). The
teachers failed me because my answers were not in compliance with
school literature. As a result, I always felt the public educators
had something to hide. I lost all trust in them and turned to
reeducating myself as much as possible while at the same time,
giving them the answers they wanted.

That is roughly what is going on today in the government, what we
(the citizens of this country) want is not in compliance with what
our elected officials want. The congress and senate push one thing,
religious institutions want another and those of us on the
sidelines have little opportunity to be heard. That is if we even
know about the votes to begin with. Our government (and the religious
institutions) appears to no longer be for the people and by the
people, but for themselves and we are left feeling the effects of the
constant battle they keep brewing up.

What Was The Cover-up Hidden by Monks for 500 Years?

Sketches hidden beneath one of da Vinci’s most famous
works have been revealed to the public for the first
time after scientists discovered the provocative
images under a thick layer of paint. You can click on
the title and read the story for yourself.

China Spends $20 Million on UFO Research

While China is now reported to be spending a wopping
$20 million on a UFO Research Center, Mainstream American
Media and Universities laugh at the phenomenon. Are American
scientist making a grave mistake by ignoring the significance
of UFO technology?

The DaVinci Code

I put off writing about this for quite a while. But then
every time I turned around, someone was bringing it up.
My own supervisor is one such person that run something
into the ground as deep as anyone.

Recent media reports have stirred up so much discussion
about Jesus as the book and movie "The DaVinci Code", the
Christian side of society and the “I hope I’m a Christian”
sector has given Dan Brown and his creations publicity the
writer didn’t openly ask for. That same publicity attracted
the public into book stores and theaters like a magnet
attracting steal. Brown made millions on sales!

True enough the book raises a *lot* of fascinating historical
questions. But I am an amateur researcher and I have a mind
that digs into places and history people don’t often think
about. This uproar or conspiracy the book and movie covers
is not new. It has been around off and on for over a hundred
years.

One thing I would like to point out about Da Vinci’s Last
supper painting we see in some many places is, it is a
problem either way a Christian looks at it. If that is Mary
Magdalene, that is a problem, it means Jesus may have been
married. But if it is John as many people say they believe,
we have another problem, and that means Da Vinci is say John
was very feminine. And the church and Christianity in general
would have a problem with John being a crossdresser. Right?

Quite frankly, I don’t care which is true or if neither is.
My point is, nothing can start the sparks flying like having
one’s belief and faith questioned. One well known minister
that has both a radio and TV program even has a CD out on the
book and movie. People get upset when their faith is challenged.

Scot McKnight, professional historian has a fascinating view
on this. He's a professor at North Park University in Chicago,
and he's written over 20 books. You can listen to Dr. McKnight's

Children's Imaginary Friends -- Real or Not?

The Unseen Playmate

When children are playing alone on the green,
In comes the playmate that never was seen.
When children are happy and lonely and good,
The Friend of the Children comes out of the wood.
Nobody heard him, and nobody saw,
His is a picture you never could draw,
But he's sure to be present, abroad or at home,
When children are happy and playing alone.
He lies in the laurels, he runs on the grass,
He sings when you tinkle the musical glass;
Whene'er you are happy and cannot tell why,
The Friend of the Children is sure to be by!
He loves to be little, he hates to be big,
'T is he that inhabits the caves that you dig;
'T is he when you play with your soldiers of tin
That sides with the Frenchmen and never can win.
'T is he, when at night you go off to your bed,
Bids you go to sleep and not trouble your head;
For wherever they're lying, in cupboard or shelf,
'T is he will take care of your playthings himself!

Some of My Cousins Have Asked About Me

Well, my book on Genesis is finished. Now I’m sitting here
reliving my past to put it in a book. Its likely to upset a
few, but if it does, they should realize there were times
during my life when I was upset and they just didn’t seem
to care.

My Mom tells me some of my cousins have asked about me and
asked why I don’t come around. One is the pastor of a church
out from Fairburn where I grew up. One is the piano player,
another I think is a deacon. I’m sure they would like to see
me, it has been a long time. Quite frankly, they didn’t want
me around when we were all kids. They made it obvious as to
how they felt. So, why should I go around them now? I’m sure
they haven’t forgotten the way they were back then, I haven’t.
And if they do remember those days, why haven’t they moved to
resolve the matter? Why does it fall my place to resolve the
matter? Or is this another one of those one sided things where
their hands are clean?

Genesis

I’ve been severely slow with Blog entries and would like to
explain why. Over the past several weeks, I have been working
on a regarding the biblical book of Genesis. I did give a few
hints of the book in my Blog, but didn’t give away the content.
The book should be ready to sell by the first week of June 2006.
The purchase of the book will be through www.paypal.com and will
be available for download in PDF format. The price will be very
affordable. There is not a printed hard copy at this time, but
may be in about a year.

The book I’ve written doesn’t deny the existence of God in any way.
It does however give possible explanations regarding some of the
events of Genesis times, how the miraculous acts and deeds might
have been performed. I also bring up scores of questions I have
pondered myself and expect many others would have had they noticed
some of the things in the Bible I have.

AStrange City Rising

A Strange City Rising

Here is a really interesting occurrence. Tourists and local
residents both witnessed a very strange mirage which lasted
for four hours off the shore of Penglai City in east China's
Shandong Province on Sunday, May 7, 2006.

The mists rising on the shore created the image of a city,
with modern high-rise buildings, broad city streets and busy
streets filled with cars as well as crowds of people all
clearly visible.

The city of Penglai had been soaked by two days of rain before
the rare weather phenomenon occurred.

The Feds Are Collecting Citizen Phone Records

Don’t know if any of you have heard this, but the federalies are
collecting U.S. citizen’s phone records. So far,AT&T, Verizon and
BellSouth are turning over records of tens of millions of customers'
phone calls to the National Security Agency, according to USA Today
reports that came out today.

According to the report, the program was started shortly after
terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Reports are that the NSA
isn't listening in on the calls (so they say), but they do admit
collecting information as to who talks to who and when, and record-
ing phone numbers. They say, the “Agents are reportedly looking for
patterns that suggest terrorism”
.

Be on your guard, they may come knocking on your door if you have
used the wrong words in your phone call conversations. You can read
the article for yourself as I have included it. Just watch what you
say.

An Unusual Event From My Own Past

While I work on my book, I decided to post some on my unusual
experiences here. Some, unbelievable I know, still these
experiences actually did happen. Things happen to everyone
(or almost everyone) that can’t seem to be explained by any
means to satisfy the person these events happen too. In my
opinion, there are no exceptions. I’ve just recently joined a
group that explores such events. I hadn’t had a chance to listen
to Dreamland, but my daughter had and mentioned the current
program with Starfire Tor and Brandon Scott.

The program reminded me of my own past and a peculiar event
that has always “Bugged” me. You see, I grew up as somewhat
of a loner, I just didn’t seem to fit in with any crowd around.
Being a loner, I began roaming the woods near my home and I
guess the truth be known, I considered those woods my second
home.

I was about fourteen at the time, I was out in the woods one
morning with my dog. The area was a thick pine grove at the
top of a hill overlooking a lake. An old road lay right through
the pine grove, it had grown up over the years till the old road
bed was hardly visible. I knew the land was posted, but that
never bothered me much, I just wanted a place to go to get away
from people since that seemed to be the only time I stayed out of
trouble.

On this particular morning I stopped for a moment. I guess my dog
saw what was taking place the same time I did. A fog or something
appeared, it looked something like what you might imagine the
smoke would be coming from a hole in the ground with something
smoldering. Only, I knew that place pretty well and there wasn’t
a hole. The fog or smoke began to take the form of a human or
humanoid. Now, as I said, I was about fourteen, young and I was
scared. I would say my dog was too, to be honest, I couldn’t say
which of us had the lead in leave tracks behind. My only thought
at the time was making my way across our pasture near my home as
fast as I could travel. I’m still not sure how I managed to clear
that barbed wire fence between me and home.

I have always wished I had stayed around long enough to see what
was materializing in front of me, but my feet just wouldn’t stay
put. I’ve had many others that are quite different over the years,
but I guess this one has bugged me the most.

Cheers to all

Drawing Wild Conclusions

Today was usual, I took a shower to get ready for work, took
a clean uniform from the closet and was soon ready to face the
traffic of my shift. Sometime later, after arriving at work,
I found a small porous stone in my pant pocket. It would have
been easy to speculate as to how it found its way into my
pocket. I could have said some little person with a mischievous
nature threw a handful in the washer as we did the laundry. But
then, I could have said I got the little stone in there at work
even though I don’t work around gravel or sand being loaded or
hauled. I could have said it got there while gardening, but I
live in an apartment. I could draw up any conclusion as to how
the stone got in my pocket, said that’s how it happened and
announced the end to the mystery. But, it wouldn’t have been
the truth.

The same thing is going on in our public school system today
to a large extent. When the subject comes around as to who
built the pyramids, how and why – our educators come to one
conclusion. They tell our young the stones were quarried else-
where, moved across desert sands by hundreds of men dragging
them. Then they propose the same men built ramps of sand to
drag the stones up and into place.

That sounds a bit ridiculous when you consider the fact that
today we do not have the equipment nor technology to do such
things. And these stones were perfectly cut and sized. How can
we expect a culture, a civilization, many insist were primitive
(compared to us) were able to do it? Even if the Ancient
Egyptians had the ability to move these huge multi-tons stones,
how did they cut them to the exact shape and size miles from
the construction sites?

The educational system would rather make up wild and unbelievable
stories to drill into our children’s young impressionable minds
than to admit they don’t have a clue as to how such massive
structures were built. Even with the thousands upon thousands of
folk lore stories of ancient advanced civilizations, the thousands
of ancient text and manuscripts, and scores of geological and
archeological findings – our educators still say the pyramids were
built the way the always have. They refuse to admit they were
wrong, till the do admit it, they will be wrong.

If they would just admit they don’t know, maybe these young and
impressionable minds would search for the truth. But as long as our
educational systems and government keep hiding the truth, these
young minds have less information to begin their search for the
truth. I for one refuse to support public education as long as the
educators keep covering the truth and hiding the evidence.

As far as the little stone I found in my pocket, I didn’t dream up
any wild possibilities as to how it got there, I just accepted the
fact that I didn’t know. At least I’m not trying to blame it on some
little invisible, mischievous fairy. Me blaming a fairy would be as
wild as our educators telling our kids those pyramids were built by
thousands of men to be used as tombs. The sad thing is – people would
rather believe the lie than to demand the truth.

Have You Read Genesis Lately?

I have been working on an ebook on The Book of Genesis from
the Bible, it should be available during the latter part of
this month (May 2006). In the ebook, I point out several
areas I’ve questioned. I feel reasonably certain I’m not the
only person to notice these things. However, considering the
way I was raised (Christian), for many years I wasn’t able to
ask my questions. If I had, chances are I would have been
harshly condemned. Later on in years, my questions became the
layout for a book on the first book of the Bible, Genesis.

As I studied Genesis, I realized there were much more than a
few oddities hidden there. I saw a lot I had never really
noticed just sitting there in plain sight. Then I realized I
probably wasn’t the only one raised in a Christian home that
would question such things, actions, and characters in a
person we are told to be up right and godly. These were the
sort of things my folks and church taught were wrong to sinful.
Yet, the very ones we are told God chose to do his work were
doing these things.

As I was reading, I was also putting together the layout for
an ebook, but the thought of an ebook didn’t cross my mind at
first. Trying to dig all the oddities I found out of each
chapter’s verses is what I was doing. Digging the hidden fibers
of soiled raiments from the closets of sainted biblical
characters fired an interest in me write about what I found.
Then I posted a few scrambled notes from each chapter one at a
time here in this blog. My digging isn’t over yet, I am about
ready to move on to Exodus.

When my ebook on Genesis is finished, I’ll put it up for sale
here in Adobe format. The price will be affordable to most anyone
and payable through http://www.paypal.com . When payment is
received, it will be sent to the buyer’s email address.

Thanks for stopping by, and please check back soon.

South Pole Telescope

Its been recently revealed America is now spending fortunes in
some sort of a special space watching program in the most hostile,
uninhabitable, and inaccessible place on earth – way down at the
south pole. A secretive complex is now being put into operation
which is known as The South Pole Telescope (SPT) in Antarctica.
When the installation is finished, it will be the size of a mini-mall
and of course being where it is located, it will require massive
amounts of funding to maintain and operate. But, regardless of
the expense to operate and the staffing required – not one Senator
or Congressman has questioned the need for this complex despite
the cost.

Just to transport the equipment required a fleet of C-130 Hercules
aircraft to airlift the pre-assembled modules and a large staff to this
most desolate part of the earth. Why? What are they looking for?
Something in deep space was sighted back in 1983 and that finding
spurred the USA to build the SPT (without regard to cost).

Government agencies have never worked so closely together for one
single solitary cause as they seem to be in this venture. No news cast
have been released to inform the public of what is taking place there
and why. What could astronomers be looking for there that they can’t
see from a more accessible facility already in operation? Because doom
will be coming from the south?

Cave Paintings

Cave paintings, they’ve been found all over the world. Have you ever
wondered who made them and why? What were they trying to say and
to whom? Some are incredibly accurate in detail, while others look so
very primitive. Yet, I believe they all have something to tell us if we
will only open our mind to the possibilities. Some of us have tried to
solve these great and mysterious puzzles from the past. But then, some
are also afraid of what they may reveal once interpreted.

Like cave paintings, stories of floods, cataclysms that destroyed
civilizations have also been found all over the world. Stories of
civilizations that once flourished then vanished leaving behind only
dim footprints in the sands of time till some curious researchers began
to put the shattered pieces together one piece at a time.

Some say these ancient paintings found in caves were made by ancient
cave men, these are the same people that expect us to believe the great
pyramids were build as tombs for kings. And those men dragging the
multi-ton built the stones across desert sands to one location. They
seem to forget the details as to how the stones were perfectly cut to size
and shape. Never mind the fact that we don’t have the skill or technology
to do the same thing today. Our civilization hasn’t yet managed to invent
the machinery to do it. And these educators expect us to believe a lesser
culture could thousands of years ago.

A few people believe there have been many catastrophes throughout the
history of earth where even the most advanced civilizations were reduced
to a mere handful of people. If there were catastrophes over and over
again that wiped out the untold number of civilizations the world over,
what of the survivors?

Wouldn’t they have tried to leave their stories behind somehow? If they
did, how would they have left them? Wouldn’t they have possibly used
paintings in the very caves they sought refuge in? What would those
paintings look like, what language would they write their story in? Could
it be they hid out in those caves where cave paintings have been found?
Could it be they, the survivors themselves, created those paintings trying
to leave a record of their existence and what they saw for the future
cultures and we just haven’t managed to unravel the mysteries yet?

Consider this, a family escapes a tsunami by retreating to a cave in near a
mountain. Thinking the worse has happened, they make their wall
paintings and write notes in their own language to anyone who might by
chance stumble across their place of refuge. Now, think about this – if it
should happen again, and it will, aren’t the chances high the next survivors
will do the same as those in the past?

Here in our own day and age, there is speculation and research toward the
possibility of a fly by of what has been referred to as some type planetary
object over the next few years. Evidence of such an event is very convincing.
I might also add that should such an object come too close to earth, it
wouldn’t have to collide with earth to be catastrophic. A large enough body
passing through the ecliptic plane would effect every planet in the solar
system – possibly to the point of unbelief, till it happened that is.

Tuvalu Is Drowning.

The tiny island nation of Tuvalu , which is located in the Pacific ocean between
Hawaii and Australia, may be the first casualty of global warming.
The arctic ice is melting, as it melts, the water level in our oceans rise. The ice
in the arctic caps is not a few inches, or a few feet thick – it’s a few miles thick.
That is a lot of frozen water. What happens when it melts? The sea levels rise
and land sinks.
As global warming causes the oceans to rise, low-lying islands like the nine
islands that make up Tuvalu are in danger of vanishing forever. Where will
these people go?
Many of them are now leaving for Australia and New Zealand. The 700,000
square mile area of the Bering Sea in the northern Pacific near Alaska is also
showing the effects. The environment around the Bering Sea has changed from
Arctic to sub-Arctic conditions. This change in the earth can no longer be ignored,
we do indeed have a real problem and it is growing.

Comets Break Up

Just what causes a comet to break up in space and what are the after effects?
The comet was supposed to make another return in the fall of 1995. But during October of 1995, a new comet was located by numerous observers in the evening sky. But it wasn't a "new" comet as observers first thought, it was the comet Schwassmann-Wachmann 3.

The comet didn’t get as close to Earth as astronomers had and was much dimmer than expected. Its brightness had increased several hundred times.

And no one knew why. The European Southern Observatory in Chile reported that the comet’s tiny nucleus had fractured into several parts. The most likely reason they could arrive at was stress. An example of that would be pouring hot water on glass when the glass was at a freezing temperature.

Genesis19

[1] And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in
the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them;
and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
[Where is the third angel, and how did Lot know they were not
ordinary men?]

[2] And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into
your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet,
and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said,
Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
[Lot called them "lords" and reffered to himself as their servent.
What indication did he have they were Holy?]

[3] And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto
him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and
did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
[If they were angels (heaven sent), they knew they wouldn’t be
staying in the streets that night. Why did they say they would?]

[4] But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men
of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all
the people from every quarter:
[5] And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the
men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us,
that we may know them.
[6] And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door
after him,
[7] And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
[Lot called them brethren (brothers). Why call them that if he
didn’t think of himself as being one of them?]

[8] Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known
man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to
them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for
therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
[9] And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one
fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will
we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore
upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
[Wait a minute, there were two men in Lot’s house. Where was
the second?]

[10] But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the
house to them, and shut to the door.
[Now there are two again.]

[11] And they smote the men that were at the door of the house
with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied
themselves to find the door.
[Let a search light (or laser) hit you in the face and you are blind.
Those people knew nothing of such things in those days.]

[12] And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in
law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in
the city, bring them out of this place:
[He asked for a head count as if he didn’t already know how many
there were.]

[13] For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is
waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent
us to destroy it.
[14] And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married
his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD
will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his
sons in law.
[15] And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot,
saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here;
lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
[16] And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and
upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters;
the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and
set him without the city.
[17] And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad,
that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay
thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
[18] And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
[19] Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou
hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving
my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me,
and I die:
[Lot didn’t have a lot of faith did he? If he had, he would have gone
into the mountains like he was told to do. If God had a hand in the
destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, he would have been able to
protect him in the mountains too.]

[20] Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one:
Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall
live.
[21] And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning
this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which
thou hast spoken.
[22] Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou
be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
[23] The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
[24] Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah
brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
[Who kills all the men, women, children, infants, newborns in Sodom
and Gomorrah by raining "fire and brimstone from the Lord out of
heaven"? Was it God, gods, or angels? There seems to be a
disagreement as to who it really was according to some whom have
studied ancient text.]

[25] And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the
inhabitants of the cities, and that
[Sounds somewhat nuclear in nature or a giant meteorite. How hot
would a meteorite get crashing to earth. Too, they wouldn’t have
know what a nuclear blast was in those days.]

[26] But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a
pillar of salt.
[I’ve heard a story that to this day there is a spire of salt there.]

[27] And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where
he stood before the LORD:
[28] And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all
the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country
went up as the smoke of a furnace.
[Abraham didn’t turn to salt for looking toward Sodom and
Gomorrah, yet – Lot’s wife was. And we notice the description,
like the smoke of a furnace.]

[29] And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of
the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out
of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities
in the which Lot dwelt.
[30] And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain,
and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar:
and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
[He should have gone to the mountains in the first place.]

[31] And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old,
and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the
manner of all the earth:
[32] Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie
with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
[33] And they made their father drink wine that night: and the
firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not
when she lay down, nor when she arose.
[34] And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said
unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let
us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie
with him, that we may preserve seed of our Father.
[35] And they made their father drink wine that night also: and
the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when
she lay down, nor when she arose.
[36] Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their
father.
[It is hard to believe Lot didn’t know what was taking place –
even a little. We call this incest in our day and age.]

[37] And the firstborn bare a son, and called his name Moab:
the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.
[38] And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name
Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon
unto this day.

Genesis18

[1] And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he
sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
[2] And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him:
and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and
bowed himself toward the ground,
[Now, at first it says the LORD appeared, yet in the second verse it
says three men. So, which was it, the LORD, or three men? If the three
men stood by Abraham, why did he run to them? Then again, if that’s
not really the way the scriptures meant it, how much more is there in
the Bible that has been misread by ministers (preachers), TV evange-
list, church doctoring, changed by Biblical editors, etc.? I know our
language is far different from the language of Moses’ time, but if it is top
be taken the way it reads – there is a lot of sugaring in today’s sermons.]

[3] And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not
away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
[How did Abraham know this was the Lord?]

[4] Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and
rest yourselves under the tree:
[5] And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after
that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And
they said, So do, as thou hast said.
[6] And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready
quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the
hearth.
[7] And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good,
and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
[8] And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and
set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
[9] And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold,
in the tent.
[10] And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of
life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent
door, which was behind him.
[11] Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it
ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
[12] Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old
shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
[13] And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying,
Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
[14] Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will
return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
[Time Travel – he know she would still be alive. Sarah, who is about 90
years old at this time and no doubt has gone through menopause, laughs
at God, or god when he tells her that she will have a son. She asks God, or
god if she will "have pleasure" with her "Lord" (Abraham), when both are
so very old. God, or the god assures her that he will return (and
impregnate) her at the appointed time. He doesn’t say Abraham will do it,
he says "he" will return at the appointed time.]

[15] Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he
said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
[She lied. Now, everyone knows it is not nice to lie, but according to this
– she did.]

I didn’t get into the part about the Lord talking with Abraham about
destroying Sodom and Gomorrah because it would simply take up more
space than I want to give it. But I welcome the reader to read about it in
the Bible.

Genesis17

[1] And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD
appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God;
walk before me, and be thou perfect.
[Abram still found favor with God. The reader may wish to make
a note here that God appeared to Abram, which probably means
Abram saw God. Remember that as you read the story of Moses.
I wont tell you which part at this time, it would spoil it for you.]

[2] And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will
multiply thee exceedingly.
[3] And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
[4] As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt
be a father of many nations.
[5] Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy
name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I
made thee.
[We see here that Abram was apparently promoted in rank.
What about the incident with Hagar?]

[6] And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make
nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
[7] And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and
thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting
covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
[8] And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the
land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an
everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
[9] And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant
therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
[According to scripture, God promoted Abram to Abraham,
established a covenant with him, and didn’t hold any thing he
had done against him. As I see it, here is a lot you can bring up
to someone who condemns you for nothing more than having a
drink.]

[10] This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and
you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall
be circumcised.
[11] And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it
shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
[12] And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among
you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the
house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy
seed.
[13] He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy
money [I see slavery was also acceptable back then.],
must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your
flesh for an everlasting covenant.
[14] And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin
is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he
hath broken my covenant.
[I still don’t see what being circumcised has to do with living right.]

[15] And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt
not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
[16] And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will
bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall
be of her.
[Sarai was promoted too, as well as rewarded, even after what she
did regarding Hagar. Are we sure this was God doing all of this?]

[17] Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his
heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old?
and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
[18] And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before
thee!
[19] And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and
thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with
him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
[20] And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed
him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly;
twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
[21] But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall
bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
[22] And he left off talking with him, and God went up from
Abraham.
[23] And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in
his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male
among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of
their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
[24] And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was
circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
[25] And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was
circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
[26] In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael
his son.
[27] And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought
with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.

Genesis16

They sure did have some strange customs in those days. But have
you noticed, God or the LORD seemed to approve of the actions of
these "Men of God" so far? It seems to me the purest of the pure
had a few blemishes. I suggest anyone reading this to find a Bible
and keep check behind me. I am taking this information from the
Bible, why not double check if you find it hard to believe?

[1] Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an
handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
[2] And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath
restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it
may be that I may obtain children by her.
[Now I ask you, what woman in her right mind would do such a
thing? In our society (such as it is), what wife do you know who
would ask her husband to do anything like this? As with regard
to our society (churches included), these actions are totally
unacceptable. Should it take place in the church, a member could
be turned away. In a community, the would be called all sorts of
names, shunned, maybe attacked and sued – their name would
be ruined.]

And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
[Too, Abram was suppose to be a man of God, but this seemed to
be okay with him. Let’s see what happens next.]

[3] And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian,
after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave
her to her husband Abram to be his wife.
[Uh huh, still with me folks? This is a man of God, one the Lord
does seem to be well pleased with. Now, I wonder just how many
preachers have really paid any attention to this. How many
churches have thrown out church members for the act of sleeping
with someone they are not married too? But, as you can see, it
happened here.]

[4] And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she
saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
[Now we are getting into some deep stuff. Okay, let me see if I can
follow this. Sarai gave Hagar (her servent) to Abram (Sarai’s
husband), then Sarai became "Angry" with Hagar. Now I ask you,
does that sound fair to Hagar, since she was just a servent and likely
had no choice in the matter? It’s the old damned if you do, damned
if you don’t situation.]

[5] And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have
given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had
conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me
and thee.
[It would seems to me, that Hagar deserves an apology.]

[6] But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do
to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she
fled from her face.
[Now, you see folks, things like this just do not
seem right. The thought that comes to my mind is, a parent telling
a child to do something, then punishing the child for doing it. Well,
that’s about what this amounts too.]

[7] And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in
the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.
[8] And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and
whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my
mistress Sarai.
[Who wouldn’t?]

[9] And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy
mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.
[So, the angel sends her back to take a punishment she shouldn’t
have. But then, I’m sure there are a lot of innocent people in prison
in our own society today.]

[10] And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy
seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
[11] And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with
child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because
the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
[12] And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man,
and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the
presence of all his brethren.
[That should help a mother sleep well.]

[13] And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her,
Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after
him that seeth me?
[At least someone is thinking.]

[14] Wherefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; behold, it is
between Kadesh and Bered.
[15] And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's
name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.
[16] And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar
bare Ishmael to Abram.

Genesis15

Again, here I am only hitting on a few interesting verses as I go along
to make my points. I do not intend to copy down the entire Bible (which,
by the way, can not be copyrighted).

[1] After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a
vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding
great reward.
[The writer tells us here that Abram was still considered to be a
righteous man even after avoiding, or rather skirting the truth as he
did, having a drink of wine (and maybe ale), and fighting. Now how
many times have you been told doing these things would send you
to Hell?]

[2] And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go
childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?
[3] And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo,
one born in my house is mine heir.
[4] And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This
shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own
bowels shall be thine heir.
[Why did the writer use the word "bowels"?]

[5] And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward
heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he
said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
[6] And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for
righteousness.

Genesis14

I’m adding this just to show Abram could be one to avoid a fight with.

[10] And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of
Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained
fled to the mountain.
[11] And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all
their victuals, and went their way.
[12] And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom,
and his goods, and departed.
[13] And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the
Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of
Eschol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.
[14] And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he
armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and
eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
[Abram it seems had quite an army to have been a sort of preacher.]

[15] And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by
night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the
left hand of Damascus.
[16] And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his
brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.
[Now it said before that Lot was Abram’s brother’s son. Here it says
Lot was Abram’s brother.]

[17] And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from
the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at
the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale.
[18] And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and
he was the priest of the most high God.
[Ah, wine – and how many times have I heard it was wrong to drink?
One thing a lot of people don’t realize is, fermenting was the only way
to keep juice in those days. Too, there were some juices that would
ferment on their own without any help. Do your homework.]

[19] And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high
God, possessor of heaven and earth:
[20] And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine
enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
[And even after Abram lied. Imagin that.]

Genesis13

[1] And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he
had, and Lot with him, into the south.
[2] And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.
[Which proves wealth is not an evil thing after all. But rather than
enter the whole chapter, I’m just going after the high spots.]

[12] Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities
of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.
[13] But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD
exceedingly.
[14] And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from
him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art
northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward
[15] For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy
seed for ever. :
[Which also means, if the wrong people occupy it today, they don’t
stand a chance.]

Genesis12

Okay, we’ve see how Noah got drunk at least once and how angry
he got at his son. These were actions today’s Christians would
frown at, yet he was chosen by God. Now we’ve come to the story
of Abram, it will be interesting to see how well he does.

[1] Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy
country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house,
unto a land that I will shew thee:
[2] And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee,
and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
[3] And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that
curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
[The LORD must have been well pleased with Abram. Shall we
see how he lived?]

[4] So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and
Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old
when he departed out of Haran.
[5] And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and
all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they
had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of
Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.
[6] And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem,
unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.
[7] And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed
will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD,
who appeared unto him.
[The LORD appeared to Abram, remember this when we get to
Deuteronomy and see where Moses couldn’t look at the LORD.]

[10] And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down
into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.
[11] And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt,
that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a
fair woman to look upon:
[She must have been gorgeous.]

[12] Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see
thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but
they will save thee alive.
[He, a man of God, was afraid.]

[13] Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with
me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.
[Is he asking his wife to lie for him? Well, at first glance, that is how
it appears, but keep reading.]

[14] And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt,
the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.
[15] The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her
before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.
[16] And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep,
and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and
she asses, and camels.
[17] And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great
plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.
[Apparently, even though Abram told a half-truth (and it does say
he did), God or the LORD wasn’t angry with Abram, but he was
with Pharaoh.]

[18] And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou
hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?
[19] Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her
to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy
way.
[20] And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they
sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.

Stay tuned, there is much more to come. I haven't even begun!

Genesis11

I bypassed Genesis 10 because it was hardly more than a chapter telling the generations, and full of little more than impossible to pronounce names. Having given that explanation lets move on to chapter 11.

[1] And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
[There is no way to figure out which one that was.]

[2] And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that
they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
[3] And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and
burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime
had they for mortar.
[Bet you didn’t know slime could be used to glue stones together
did you?]

[4] And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower,
whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name,
lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
[5] And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which
the children of men builded.
[It appears here that the LORD is already here. Look at verse 7.]

[7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that
they may not understand one another's speech.
[Remember in verse 5, the writer said the LORD came down?
According to this, he still has to go down. Too, here it speaks of the
LORD in the plural, not singular as before. Now, I have a question
about this: Why was the LORD so angry with the people back then
when today all over the world there are huge skyscrapers reaching
a hundred floors up? Too, we have planes in the air and ships in
space, so what was it about this tower that caused the LORD to
react this way?]

[8] So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face
of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
[9] Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did
there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did
the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
